Knowledge Of Quran ( Uloom-ul-Quran ): Episode 1

 What is Quran?

Quran is the talk and revelation of Allah. It was revealed upon the last prophet Muhammad ( P.B.U.H ).

. The " Quran " root word is Qiraat, meaning " to collect ".

. It must be noted that Quran is an attribute of Allah.

List a few facts about Quran.

1) The Holy Quran is similarly superior to all the previously revealed holy books, as is Allah to his creation.

2) It was revealed over 23 years.

3) Quran is an excellent collection of all fields of study, be it law ( Shariah ), history, science, and the list expands.

4) It is an eternal miracle.

5) Quran simultaneously appeals human heart and the mind. It is a fascination with emotions and wisdom.

6) From the beginning till the end, a common thread runs through the Quran, painting a crystal clear constant pattern. No single verse seems to wrestle with the others in terms of context. Man, being an imperfect creature, as he continues to grow and gain knowledge, tries on a new perspective lens. Hence, his words and writings change. Thereby, without any shadow of a doubt, Quran is not a book produced by man. Indeed, it is a book of Allah.
